Prayer focus: praying the rainbow

Liz Marriott suggests using colour to guide our prayers

Prayer focus: praying the rainbow

Preparation: Have a selection of coloured items as visual aids; these can be almost anything, coloured ribbons, fabrics, card or pens and pencils, alternatively a picture of a rainbow. Perhaps draw your own rainbow, for children this would make a fun prayer time. Large round pieces of coloured card, with the childrens’ prayers on the back for when they are leading intercession time.
