The Church Times Festival of Faith and Literature 2020

11:36 09/10/2019
The Church Times Festival of Faith and Literature 2020

21-22 February 2020 at Bloxham School, Oxfordshire

For 2020 our speakers will explore all that love may mean; its passion and its excitement – and more prosaically its kindness and comfort – but also often its pain and sorrow.

Delve into the love poetry of George Herbert and RS Thomas with Mark Oakley, discover forgotten stories of sixteenth-century love and marriage with Suzannah Lipscomb, or examine the darker side of love with novelist Jo Baker. Spend time with the women behind the 'Kiss and Part' short story collection or find out just what it takes to create an abbreviated Bible with Sam Wells.

Don't miss the hilarious Harry and Chris on Friday night, and join us on Saturday evening for an inspiring programme from festival favourites the North Cotswold Chamber Choir.

All this and more - explore the festival programme here.
