How should we behave? Should there be any restrictions, either as individuals or as a society, governing our conduct in the world? Or is everything up for grabs? Perhaps what is right for me might not be right for you, and so the best way to behave might be for me to leave you to your own devices, and for you to leave me to mine? Or perhaps ther eare some things that are ultimately true, always and everywhere, which we can come to know as we seek the mind of God, and to love and serve him in response? In this issue of magnet, we touch briefly on some of the most contentious ethical issues of our time. We do not pretend to be able to offer all the answers, but we hope to prompt some questions to consider in your own heart and to take back into prayer before the Lord.
