I was pleasantly surprised, recently, to make the acquaintance of Philip, a leading figure in Acts 6-8. I suppose I already associated him with the Ethiopian eunuch, a flannelgraph image of Phil jogging alongside the chariot lodged into my brain from a distant church basement, but more recently I’ve found his character, this whole incident, decidedly heartening.
