Liz Marriott shares her migratory experience
I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD class myself as an immigrant, but as I closed the door on our home of the last 20 years, that was just where I was heading. With the last of our belongings packed in the car, we set off. As we boarded the Shuttle in Folkestone, we realised that we were leaving behind the country of our birth and upbringing, for an unknown future in a new land.
