Journeying with vulnerable God
Helen Warwick describes how our vulnerabilities can open up a journey of beauty and connectivity
I CREEP OUT INTO THE EARLY MORNING, welcoming the darkness that embraces me, seeing the stars, the moon still bright on its waning course. This is my time with the earth, listening together. I walk the labyrinth, only just aware of the outline, some parts brighter in the moonlight. I head down to the river, in full swell, reflecting silver in this light. As I ponder, my still form fools a blackbird to coming near in his early morning seeking. The sky is turning dusky blue informing of this liminal time, the sun about to arise.
