Singing for Memory

Janice Carrick describes how the lives of people with memory problems and dementia are being improved

Singing for Memory SUPPLIED BY AUTHOR

SINGING FOR MEMORY (SfM) is an interactive programme offering fun therapy and support. It enables people with memory and speech problems to enjoy the pleasures of singing in a social situation. It is based on music therapy techniques and gives attendees the opportunity to relive songs from their childhood, youth and adult lives whilst learning new musical forms.
