THERE SHOULD BE A HEALTH WARNING when using a Bible story in drama. It can lead you to places that you never expected. I wanted to write a play that explored how my faith has changed over time. I ended up telling the story of Jesus from his mother’s point of view, from birth to resurrection, in theatres, church services and village halls. It led to conversations with people of many faiths about their beliefs as well as their mums!
