WORSHIP NOTES EATING IS A PROFOUNDLY sacramental act that can draw us closer to God, to creation and to one another. When we understand table fellowship as communion, it becomes an act of worship, where Christ is present in the everyday aspects of our lives. Gratitude for our food is an extension of the grace received from the Lord’s Table. The sharing of food and the transformed community we experience grant us glimmers of the Kingdom of God on earth for which we yearn.
