Lift up your eyes and see LEICESTER CATHEDRAL

I WAS STRUCK COMING INTO THE CATHEDRAL DURING LATE NIGHT OPENING. The place was full of young people. There was a hushed, respectful ambience. People were lying on the floor bathed in light. They spoke about it being an awe-inspiring experience. Many said they were not religious, yet found it to be emotional; they
wondered about the beauty of the world and why we and it exists. Such questions have fuelled human imagination for centuries. They echo the Bible writers who say, “lift up your eyes on high and see, who created these?” (Isaiah 40:26).
