Walking together and watching over each other

A commitment service for the New Year

Walking together and watching over each other ISTOCK

The Methodist covenant service is usually used once a year, either at the start of the calendar year in January or at the start of the new church year in September. It gives the congregation an opportunity to renew their commitment to God and the Church.

Andy Mills provides us with a shorter service which enables non-Methodist churches to recommit themselves to God and their church. It could also be adapted for use in house groups.
