Many communities tell the story of a traveller who finds himself lost in a neck of the woods in which the locals are less educated than those back home. A helpful native is willing to guide him on his way but, after changing his mind regarding the best way to proceed, he hesitates, scratches his head, and exclaims, "You can't miss the road; but if it was me trying to get there, I really wouldn't start from here..."
